Types of lies people tell
There are many
lies that people tell, it doesn't mean they are justified. There are
white lies, bold-face lies and there are other things that are kind of like
lies, those are fabrication, broken promises, and deception. This all hurt
people in one way or another and that’s what makes them unjustified. Now I will
explain them and how they hurt others.
The white lies are all about not hurting
someone else’s feelings, they are made to be softer to people. These lies still
hurt because the truth can come out at any moment and then no one will believe
anything you say. These lies are told when you are making an excuse for not
going somewhere or when you get something you didn't want but don’t want to
hurt that person’s feelings.
The bold-face lies are when you just tell
a lie for the fact that you want to or don’t want to give an explanation. This
lies do hurt others when they find out the truth but it hurts even more the
person that said the lie. People say them to cover up what they have done or
where they were. It can turn into a habit but is up to that person to stop them.
The broken promises are those things
people commit to and then do not deliver. It hurts everyone, the person that
said it and the one that heard it, it specially hurts when the person that said
it had no intention of making the promise come true. The fabrication is when you
say something you don’t know if is true or not. Fabrication can hurt people’s
reputations since they always lead to rumors. Last but not least important is
deception, this is when you try to create a false impression and causes people
to be misled. This lies are made by not saying all the facts or just creating a
false impression.
Nobody should tell a lie in their life. People
should be responsible of their own acts and accept the consequences. Losing credibility
because of one moment you didn't want to accept a mistake or something is not
worth it. Honesty is the best policy.
